Early life

Fakhar Zaman was born in Katlang, a small village in the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He started playing cricket at a young age and quickly showed promise as a batsman. He made his first-class debut for Karachi Blues in 2013.

Domestic career

Zaman had a successful domestic career, scoring heavily in both first-class and List A cricket. In 2016, he was the second-highest run-scorer in the Pakistan Cup, scoring 297 runs in five matches, including two fifties and a century.
